AML checks for Norwegian real estate agencies.

Verid runs the enhanced due diligence that Norwegian anti-money laundering law requires of real estate agencies, and shows where every finding came from.

What it does

When a property sale needs extra checks, an agent used to open the business register, the sanctions lists and a web search in separate tabs, then write it all up in Word.

Verid does the lookups: the Brønnøysund registers, sanctions and PEP lists, and a web search when the risk is high. Every lookup is stored with its source and time, including the ones that found nothing.

Verid suggests a risk level and explains why. The agent decides and signs with their name. The search usually takes under three minutes, and Verid never stores national ID numbers.

Who we are

We come from real estate in northern Norway and have done these checks by hand ourselves. Eiendomsmegler Nord uses Verid today.
